Motława Riverside Apartments Rules and Regulations

§ 1. General Provisions

The lodging facility, Motława Riverside Apartments, located at Długie Ogrody Street 43 in Gdańsk, is dedicated to providing a comfortable and safe environment for our Guests. This set of rules defines the guidelines for using our lodging services and outlines the rights and responsibilities of both our Guests and the facility.

Room reservations can be made through our website, by phone, or in person at the reception desk. Please familiarize yourself with these rules before making a reservation, as completing the reservation signifies acceptance of all its terms.

After making a reservation, the Guest will receive an email confirming the preliminary reservation conditions, which also includes information necessary for making a deposit of 30% of the stay's value. For one-night bookings, the deposit amount is 100% of the stay's value.

If the deposit is not received within the specified timeframe or is late, the facility reserves the right to sell the room to another person and cancel the reservation. Any deposit received after the cancellation will be refunded to the Guest's account within 14 business days.

Once the deposit is recorded on the facility’s bank account, the Guest receives an email with a guaranteed reservation agreement.

If a guaranteed reservation is canceled by the Guest more than 30 days before the stay, the facility returns the deposit amount as a voucher.

If the reservation is canceled by the Guest 29 to 14 days before the stay, 50% of the deposit value is returned as a voucher.

If the reservation is canceled by the Guest less than 14 days before the scheduled arrival, the deposit is not refunded, and the Guest is charged the total reservation price. In exceptional circumstances justified by the Guest, they will be charged for the first night of the reservation.

In case of non-refundable reservation cancellations, the deposit is not refunded regardless of when it is canceled.

Changes to reservation dates, converting a deposit into a voucher, or canceling previously postponed reservations are subject to individual review regarding deposit refunds.

If a reservation is made too close to the arrival date for bank transactions to be processed, any emails from the Guest will be considered an order subject to the standard cancellation policy. The facility reserves the right to pre-authorize or charge the Guest’s credit card for 30% of the stay’s value as a deposit.

If the Guest opts not to use any included additional services, the facility does not refund their value. In justified cases, it may be possible to convert these services into a voucher for future use.

§ 2. Check-in and Check-out

Check-in is available from 3:00 PM, and check-out must be completed by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out can be arranged with prior contact with the reception, possibly at an additional cost.

During check-in, each Guest must present a valid ID and a credit card.

At check-out, Guests must return all keys and access cards.

§ 3. Fees and Payments

The prices for accommodations are based on the current price list available on our website and at the reception.

Payments for the stay are accepted at check-in, and Guests can pay by credit card or cash.

The room rate includes basic utilities such as electricity, water, and internet access.

Remember that a tourist fee is added according to applicable laws.

§ 4. Usage Rules

To ensure the comfort and safety of all our Guests, please maintain quiet within the facility and refrain from holding parties.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Pets are allowed, subject to an additional fee determined by the reception staff.

Smoking inside the facility is prohibited. Guests may smoke in designated outdoor areas. Violators will be charged a standard room-refresh fee of 500 PLN. If the fire alarm system is activated, causing the arrival of the fire department, an additional 500 PLN will be charged.

Guests are fully responsible for any damages caused within the facility and must report them to the reception immediately.

In case of technical issues in the room or breakdowns, Guests must report them to the reception staff without delay.

All inconveniences in the facility’s operation and any lost keys or access cards must also be reported immediately.

§ 5. Guest’s Responsibility

The Guest is fully responsible for their actions and conduct during their stay at our facility.

They must immediately report any damages or issues to the reception.

The Guest is liable for lost or damaged keys and access cards and for their replacement, which may incur additional fees.

If the rules are violated, the Guest may be asked to leave the facility, and no refund for the stay will be provided.

The Guest is liable for any material losses caused within the facility, including property damage and any cleaning or repair costs.

The facility is not responsible for the loss or theft of Guest’s property left in the room or on the premises.

The Guest must adhere to safety rules and use the safe if available in the room to secure valuable items.

Furniture and other items should not be moved from their designated places.

The Guest must not disturb the peace of other Guests and adhere to the designated quiet hours.

They must also follow fire safety and evacuation procedures in case of an emergency.

The facility reserves the right to seek compensation from the Guest if they breach these rules or cause damage.

Guest responsibility is an integral part of these regulations and is as binding as any other provision.

§ 6. Facility’s Responsibility

Motława Riverside Apartments strives to provide a comfortable and safe stay for its Guests.

The facility is liable for the loss or damage of items brought in by Guests to the extent specified in the Civil Code, unless otherwise agreed.

Guests should report any damages to the reception immediately after discovering them.

The facility is not liable for the theft or damage of money, securities, valuable or artistic items unless they are deposited in the safe.

Compensation for lost items will not exceed the amount set by the regulations.

The facility may refuse to accept high-value items, large sums of money, or large items for deposit.

The facility is not liable for damages caused by acts of God.

§ 7. Final Provisions

The facility reserves the right to refuse accommodation or expel a Guest who does not comply with the rules or poses a threat to others.

The Guest is responsible for any damages caused within the facility and must repair them at their own expense.

These regulations are effective from the date of publication and are subject to change without prior notice.

In case of disputes, the parties agree to negotiate a resolution.

Unregulated matters are governed by the relevant provisions of the Civil Code.

6. The service collects information voluntarily provided by the user.

7. The information provided in the form is processed for a purpose resulting from the function of the specific form, e.g., to process a contact information service.

8. Personal data left in the service will not be sold or shared with third parties, in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act.

9. The person who has placed them in the form has the right to access their personal data. This person also has the right to modify and cease processing their data at any time.

10. We reserve the right to change the privacy policy of the service, which may be influenced by the development of internet technology, possible changes in data protection law, and the development of our website. We will inform about all changes in a clear and understandable way.
